About Cradle Coast Authority

The Cradle Coast Authority is a joint authority created to co-ordinate and drive economic development across the nine local government areas of North-West and Western Tasmania. The Authority is engaged in a wide range of regional initiatives including: Tourism, Natural Resource Management, Industry Development, Infrastructure Development, Education and Training and Community and Cultural Development.

The Cradle Coast Authority has a dedicated team of tourism personnel who are responsible for creating local, regional and state partnerships, developing tourism marketing initiatives and campaigns, and implementing strategies to ensure that the North West region maximises its tourism potential. The Authority also works closely with Tourism Tasmania on tourism and marketing strategies and activities.
